As she embarked on her path to recovery and started gaining some weight, Friedman continued over-exercising, and ended up injured. With serious knee pain , the start of a stress fracture in her foot, and the rest of her joints screaming from overuse every time she tried to work out, she had no option but to take a summer off to allow her body to heal. The rest was just walking. Exercise is something I have always enjoyed. Different activities have worked at different times in my adult life…. Jazzercise, treadmill, walking, running, workout dvds, etc. We live in a very rural area so no easy access to gyms, and no swimming pool in our little town.
If we can sell our current home, one of our priorities for another home will be proximity to a fitness center. My widowed mother, almost 69 years old, just joined a gym near her home. Her goal is to go every day to walk on their track and use the machines. She has had two kidney transplants and a full knee replacement, and is very much an inspiration to me! Yes just eating the right foods is still not enough, you may loose but not as much as eating well and moving besides you want to be hard not skinny and flabby right?
Hang in there Ivette! It sounds like you are doing a great job with your little family. You are in a hard, hard stage of life right now where you are too exhausted to even think about exercise. Many of us have been there. I agree with Amy! You can work on losing weight after you stop nursing.
I love this post and am fluctuating between deciding that exercise would be good for me right and wondering if I still have adrenal fatigue. Thank you for sharing that. I am not overweight and have 3 small children. I have been struggling with fatigue on and off for 16 years.
I just took my temp today and it was I rarely feel like I got enough sleep, even after 9 hrs at night or a 3 hr nap. Is it best to wait until your average temp is If your adrenals are in such a poor state I would only do yoga, Pilates, swimming and walking at any pace. No high impact exercise at all. If you are not doing so already, I highly recommend daily bone broths and as much liver that you can eat in a week to begin the adrenal restoration process.

Besides, after only a few work out sessions the pain is MUCH less intense. It happens because you are out of shape! Would you give up on life when it gets uncomfortable? So why give up on a workout? Suck it up! I love Zombie Run! I spent the first season one just walking, but I have started running through my songs.
